Women in Green, the Committee for Jewish Shdema and the Efrat-Gush Etzion-Kiryat Arba-Hevron action committees said Friday, "The day will come when we try the members of Peace Now for treason and cooperating with the Arab enemy." The groups were reacting to news that Peace Now has asked Attorney General Menachem Mazuz to investigate the activities of Land of Israel activists who build outpost communities in Judea and Samaria.
Peace Now's request specificly mentioned the Land of Israel Faithful and Youth for the Land of Israel groups. The statement by the three activist groups said, "The Land of Israel Faithful and Youth for the Land of Israel are continuing the activities of the first pioneers who established the state."
