The Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria said Friday that Peace Now should be investigated. Members of the council were reacting to news that Peace Now was asking the attorney-general's office to probe those who are establishing Jewish outposts in the area.

According to a statement by the council, "Peace Now receives money from foreign governments, some of them hostile to the State of Israel, to act in a subversive manner against Zionistic settlement activity in Judea and Samaria, as well as against the essential interests of the State of Israel."
