An Israeli vehicle was fired upon Thursday morning by terrorists next to the Arab village of Bitin, in the Ramallah area, security officials said. No injuries or damage was reported.
Earlier, large forces of police and rescue workers converged on Ohr Yehuda when a suspicious object was found by residents of Hadekel Street at the entrance to an apartment. Police sappers defused the object, which turned out to be a bomb, and destroyed it. Police said they believed the bomb was planted by criminal elements. A similar bomb was found in the city a month and a half ago, police said.
