A ministerial committee headed by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu explored ways of improving the Palestinian Authority economy on Wednesday. Minister Silvan Shalom was also present at the meeting.
The first recommendation the committee made is to open the Allenby crossing into Jordan 24 hours a day. The crossing currently closes at eight in the evening.
