Labor MK Shelly Yechimovich said Tuesday that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is trying to sell away the land of Israel by selling state lands to the highest bidder. Netanyahu is trying to privatize state owned lands in an attempt to reform the Lands Authority.
Yechimovich claimed that the land of Israel is the only national resource which cannot be replenished and therefore cannot be sold. She did not explain whether the same reasoning would apply to handing over land to the Palestinian Authority.
