Air Berlin, the second largest airline in Germany, will operate a new overnight flight, Berlin-Israel, commencing tonight, Tuesday. The inaugural flight, which leaves Berlin at 22:40 local time, will land Wednesday July 8 at 03:25 local time to a festive reception.
Air Berlin will operate two weekly flights, leaving Berlin on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Tel Aviv on Wednesday and Friday mornings. The new flight now brings to 68 the number of flights to Israel from various cities within Germany, operated by a total of 8 airlines.
