The Migron community council repeated Monday that residents of the Samaria town are not prepared to move to nearby Adam as the government wants them to. The State told the Supreme Court earlier in the day that the 50 families currently living in Migron would be relocated to Adam within a year, either willingly or by force.
“We, the residents of Migron, say again that our presence in Migron is drawn from the right of the people of Israel to live in its land as a religious, ethical, and historic right,” the statement said. “The government agreed to Migron’s establishment … and we are not prepared to accept any agreement that means moving.”
