Likud MK Miri Regev claimed Monday in a press conference that associates close to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu have threatened her that she will not receive senior positions in the party if she continues to oppose the VAT the Prime Minister wants to impose on fruits and vegetables.
“We must represent the nation,” Regev added. “I believe Netanyahu will change his mind and cancel the VAT tax on fruits and vegetables.”
