U.S. President Barack Obama is meeting with Russian President Dmmitry Medvedev Monday in Moscow. The two are expected to agree to significant cuts to their nuclear weapons arsenals – estimates say down to 1,500 warheads each.

The two are also expected to discuss U.S. support for a European missile shield system which Russia opposes. They are also expected to discuss cooperation in the ongoing war in Afghanistan.
