It was disclosed Sunday evening that an Israel Defense Forces patrol was targetted by Gaza terrorists on Monday afternoon along the security fence next to the Sufah crossing. The terrorists fired an anti-tank weapon and a mortar shell at the soldiers.

No injuries or damage were reported. On Shabbat, a mortar shell intended for Israeli troops landed next to the security fence in the same area.
