The Ministerial law committee approved on Sunday a measure to compensate and provide assistance to travellers whose flights are cancelled or delayed. The proposal sets out criteria for granting the compensation and assistance, as well as the type of compensation and assistance.

The measure now goes to the Knesset for a preliminary reading.
