(IsraelNN.com) A new initiative from the Kadima party will read speeches submitted by the public during Knesset sessions each week. Kadima chair Dalia Itzik announced that she and other MKs in her party will begin reading speeches submitted by the public to neumim@kadima.org.il.

"The goal of the initiative is to strengthen ties between the MKs and the public and to give the public a voice in the parliament," Itzik told JPost. "Of course they can send them in English and I'll translate them, but we will only be able to deliver a limited number of the speeches submitted."
