Thieves broke into the home of senior police commander Uri Bar-Lev on Saturday. The intruders managed to make off with Bar-Lev's police car, his personal weapon, a computer and cash, according to Haaretz.

Police believe the thieves were unaware that they were targeting a senior commander as their victim. Officers are tracking down the stolen car, and hope to retrieve the other property as well.
