(IsraelNN.com) The government of Israel welcomed Thursday's election of Japanese diplomat Yukia Amano to replace Mohamed ElBaradei as Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Yisrael Michaeli, Israel's representative at the agency, relayed the government's support to Amano on the occasion.
