A meeting has been scheduled for July 16 in Damascus between Saudi King Abdallah, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, and Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to the website Elaph. The meeting was arranged by Saudi mediators and a French delegation headed by presidency director-general Claude Guéant, who visited Damascus this week.
Lebanon's prime-minister designate Sa'd al-Hariri and Assad will meet separately, and only after the Lebanese government is formed, Elaph reported.
