The Gaza-based Hamas terrorist group has expanded operations at its military academy as part of an effort to produce a large contingent of trained officers, according to a report by the Middle East Newsline. The Abdullah Azzam Academy, located in central Gaza, received additional funding and recruits following the Gaza war.
The academy was launched by the terror group in 2006 to build an officer corps skilled in combat and leadership.
