Lev Leviev's Africa-Israel company has received preliminary approval to build a two tower project with 29 floors each in Givatayim. The Tel Aviv District Committee for Planning and Building this week approved the plan in principle.
A series of apartments built in 1936 on Lavi Street will be demolished to make room for the towers. The project is called “Saviony Lavi”. Givatayim Mayor Reuven Ben Shachar called the renewal project “the future of the city” and promised to take an active role in its progress.
