(IsraelNN.com) The “religious Zionist budget” will not be cut in the coming year, following efforts by MK Uri Ariel (National Union) in the Knesset’s Finance Committee.

The “religious Zionist budget” includes the funding for the Torah-based seed groups that work to strengthen Jewish identity in various neighborhoods and mixed Jewish-Arab cities; the hesder yeshivas; the centers for deepening of Jewish awareness and the youth movements associated with the religious Zionist movement.

In addition, Minister of Education Gidon Saar promised that he would add funding to Jewish awareness.
