Members of the foreign press corps in Israel will cease to enjoy the tax break they currently receive, the Knesset’s Labor and Welfare Committee decided Tuesday. The committee accepted the Finance Ministry’s recommendation on this matter.
However, the committee rejected another Finance Ministry initiative, to cancel the tax break for foreign athletes competing in Israel.
