The head of the Shomron Regional Council, Gershon Masika, sent an urgent letter Tuesday morning to Attorney General Menachem Mazuz with a demand to open a criminal investigation against seven left-wing groups that have transmitted material primarily against the IDF to a U.N. committee currently investigating Israel’s military operations in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead.

Masika compares the transfer of the material to informing foreign countries about construction in Judea and Samaria, and creating a provocation and inciting Arabs to attack Jewish civilians in Jewish towns in Samaria by many extreme left-wing groups.
