Israel Navy vessels prevented a boat containing 21 “Free Gaza” peace activists from entering Israeli territorial waters on Monday, the activists reported from their website. "You will not be allowed to proceed to Gaza, and the boat that should return to Larnaca," Israeli gunboats told the Spirit ship as it defiantly ignored orders.

The IDF has not confirmed reports. A week and a half ago, the activists announced their intention to dock in Gaza with 15 tons of cement and building material. Israel has emplaced an embargo on the borders of Gaza to make it more difficult for Hamas to restock weaponry, including Kassam rockets, used against Israeli civilians.
