The Defense Ministry has agreed to allow 1,450 housing units to be built in the Samaria community of Adam in exchange for residents of the Migron outpost agreeing to relocate themselves to the new community. The deal was worked out by the Ministry and the Judea and Samaria council in response to a Supreme Court case involving the legality of Migron.
In the first phase of construction, only 50 housing units would be built for the relocated residents of Migron. MK Michael Ben-Ari called on the residents of Migron not to give in to pressure to relocate.
