Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with opposition leader Tzipi Livni on Monday for the first time since he formed the governing coalition after the last elections. At the time, Netanyahu had called on Livni and Kadima to join him in a unity government but his offer was declined.
The two are expected to discuss security issues. The meeting comes at a sensitive time, however, when the coalition is trying to pass a law which would make it easier for MKs to leave Kadima for the Likud.
