(IsraelNN.com) The government voted on the Hizbullah prisoner deal in exchange for abducted IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev in a 22-3 vote in favor of the deal.

--Iran has moved ballistic missiles into launch positions, with Israel’s Dimona nuclear plant among the possible targets, according to defense sources as reported in the London Times newspaper.

-- The name of the person responsible for saving the eight-year old Yisrael Meir Lau- who grew up to become Israel’s Chief Rabbi - from the Nazi Buchenwald concentration camp was revealed by researchers working on a newly-opened archive in Germany.

A Michigan State University researcher found it was Fyodor Mikhalitshenko who gave the then small boy ear warmers and helped keep him alive until the camp was liberated by Allied forces in 1945.
