Electric vehicle services provider Better Place announced a new venture with Israeli car-sharing company Car2go. According to the agreement, Car2go will receive some electric cars in 2010 for customer evaluation. The company will conduct a try-out period, gauge customer response, and then make a decision about greater incorporation of electric cars to their product line.
"We hope [Better Place] will see us as a pilot for a product that will help drivers get used to the idea of electric cars," Car2go CEO Yonatan Gadish said.
