Light rises were recorded in the exchange rate for the United States dollar and the Euro Friday morning. The greenback rose .05 percent to 3.9638 shekels, while the Euro was trading at NIS5.566, up .77 percent.

Thursday's official rate of 3.962 shekels to the dollar by the Bank of Israel marked an increase of .737 percent. The Euro's price of NIS5.5242 was .123 percent higher than Wednesday's official rate.
