Zevulun District Police Commander Jamil Chakrush stated that a preliminary investigation indicates that the passengers in a car that exploded in Haifa are known to the police as criminal elements from the underworld. The passengers are in their twenties from the Haifa area. The identity of the driver who was killed in the incident is still unknown.

The police noted that the bomb that caused the car’s explosion was medium-size. One man was killed and two were injured Wednesday night when a passenger vehicle erupted in flames on Histadrut Street in Haifa.
