Israel took seventh place out of 58 countries in the world for broadband internet penetration, according to a report recently published by Strategy Analytics. A full 77 percent of home in Israel access the internet via a broadband connection, compared to only 60 percent in United States.
South Korea ranks first with 95 percent penetration, followed by Singapore with an 88 percent rate. Highlighting the rapid growth of broadband in Asia, five of the top 10 scorers were Asian countries.
