Ma’an: Gilad Shalit to be Transferred to Egypt

(IsraelNN.com) The Arab news agency Ma’an is reporting Tuesday afternoon that Gilad Shalit will be transferred to Egypt “within in a number of hours” as part of a prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and Israel. Israeli security officials said the reports were unfounded.
According to Ma'an, Egyptian general Muhmad Ibrahim met with Israeli officials in Tel Aviv earlier in the day to finalize the deal. Egyptian officers and press are traveling to the Gaza border to prepare for the transfer.
