Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Monday that returning kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit to Israel is his personal responsibility. He spoke personally to Shalit’s father Noam during a meeting of the Likud faction in the Knesset.
“We will do everything to bring Gilad home healthy and whole as quickly as possible,” Netanyahu added. He said he would raise the issue in his upcoming trip to Italy and France just as he raised the issue in his meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama.
