The Tel Aviv shore arrives at New York City. As part of Tel Aviv's centennial celebrations, sand from Tel Aviv's shore, parasols, and beach chairs will be transported to Manhattan's Central Park. Onlookers will be given the impression of enjoying fun and sun at an Israeli beach.
A mass "beach" party with Israeli singers and actors will add to the celebration. The purpose of the initiative is to promote Tel Aviv as a desirable tourism destination.
