The major indexes were split at the end of trading on Thursday at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The Maof 25 index of the most widely-invested issues declined .44 percent to 832.74, while the TA-100 index closed at 771.89, down .16. Financial institutions were down .39 percent at 749.78.
The Tel-Tech index gained 2.03 percent to close at 182.52, while the Real Estate index closed at 243.13, up 1.45 percent. Also closing in the plus column were the bond and dividend indexes, and companies within the TA-100 with the highest ranking for social responsibility.
