Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu claimed that freezes on settlement construction and the creation of a Palestinian Authority state on the 1967 borders will cause his government to collapse, U.S. President Barack Obama shared with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak during his recent visit to Cairo. Arab sources quoted by Haaretz said that Mubarak was not understanding.

The Egyptian president reportedly told Obama that Netanyahu's coalition worries could not be used as an excuse for the lack of progress because he chose to form a right-wing coalition.
