IDF troops arrested Wednesday night nine terror suspects throughout Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. In Jericho, one suspect was arrested; in A-Zawiya, southweste of Kalkilya, another suspect was arrested; in Beit Iba, northwest of Shechem, one suspect was arrested; in Bazaria, northwest of Shechem, one suspect was arrested; in Kfar Na’ama, west of Ramallah, two suspects were arrested; in Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, one suspect was arrested; and in Na’alin, west of Ramallah, two additional suspects were arrested.
The suspects were transferred to security personnel for questioning by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
U.S. General Dayton trained the Palestinian Authority to control terrorism. However, the policemen do not operate late at night and generally deal with criminal elements and leave the IDF free to arrest terrorists.
