Two passengers on the tragic Air France flight which crashed in the mid-Atlantic had names linked to Islamic terrorism. French secret servicemen investigating the incident established the connection while working through the list of passengers who boarded the Airbus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 31.
While crash investigators have verified that the flight experienced computer malfunctions, terrorism has not been ruled out. A source working for the French security services told Paris weekly L’Express that the discovered link to Islamic terrorism was “highly significant”.
