The Gaza terrorists who were thwarted in an attempt to attack Israeli troops were trained and supervised by Hamas, according to a Tuesday report by Omedia. According to the news service, a number of world Jihad websites tied the 500-member-strong Jond Antzarallah to the international Al-Qaeda network.

The group was supervised by Syrian terrorist Abu-Abdullah, who is supported by the Hamas military wing. Az ad-Din-ak-Kassam also supervised Jond Antzarallah's training and gave its members weapons and logistical support, such as vehicles.
