United States President Barack Obama has told Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Egyptian officials of his two-year plan for peace between Israel and Palestinian Authority (PA) Arabs, according to a Tuesday report by the London-based Ash-Sharq il-Awsat Arabic daily. Details were not part of the report other than it including the two-state solution being pushed by America.
Egypt called the program a serious one, noting that it depends on reconciliation between PA factions. Washington sources expect Netanyahu's response in six weeks.
