Wanted: Editors for Israeli Matriculation Exams

The Knesset Education Committee revealed Monday that Israeli matriculation exams are not properly edited before or after being printed. The exams, which cover a wide variety of subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Bible, often are found to have numerous mistakes.

“This is a scandal,” MK Ofir Pines said. “The entire process of checking the tests is faulty. There is not a single editor who checks the manuscripts at a stage when mistakes could still be corrected.”
