The IDF announced Wednesday that it had removed two roadblocks in Samaria, the Rimonim roadblock between Ramallah and the Jordan valley and the Beir Zeit roadblock north of Ramallah. The decision came after a meeting between top IDF brass and the Head of the Palestinian Authority Security Forces, Hassin el-Sheik.
According to the IDF, an additional 145 roadblocks were removed in the past year. The IDF also agreed at the meeting to expedite a plan to grant Arab businessmen permits to freely enter Israel in order to improve the PA economy.
