“It is proper and necessary to free terrorists with blood on their hands to bring about the release of Gilad Shalit,” Minister Gilad Erdan said on Tuesday during a Knesset session dedicated to the kidnapped IDF soldier. “The fight must be to get the public’s approval [on the issue],” he added.
MK Ilan Gilon agreed. “We should take Hamas’ list [of demands] and add on another 20 names [of terrorists] and tie it in a package with a ribbon, as a bonus, a reward, and set a date for the boy’s return,” he said. He also stood for a moment of silence in honor of Shalit.
