Officials of the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria took out demarcation orders on Sunday afternoon declaring that all the residents of the Samarian outpost community of Ramat Gilad are there illegally and may be evicted once the Defense Ministry orders.
The few families that live there say that the area belongs to land merchant Moshe Zar. It is named after his son, a security officer who was killed by terrorists in 2001. The legal status is pending before the Supreme Court, following a petition by the Peace Now organization.
