Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Sunday that he opposes evacuations of Judea and Samaria (Yesha) if they are not part of a comprehensive program for peace in the region. "The evacuation of outposts needs to be part of a sensitive, comprehensive program and not piecemeal," he said before the cabinet meeting.
Lieberman also reiterated his call for the gradual process outlined in the road map peace plan because it protects Israel's interests. "A return to the borders of '67 in today's circumstances - as they are pressuring us [to do] - this is not peace, not security and it is not the end of the conflict. The result will be the transfer of the conflict to inside the '67 borders," Lieberman said.
