A Palestinian Authority policeman fired shots, which injured IDF soldiers in Kalkilyah on Wednesday night, a preliminary IDF investigation has revealed. The soldiers returned fire to the source of the fire, injuring the PA officer. The PA policeman is listed in medium to critical condition.
The Civil Administration head, Brigadier-General Yoav Mordechai approached senior PA officials last night and offered to transfer the policeman for medical treatment in an Israeli hospital. In addition, he approached the heads of the PA security units in the area to form a joint investigation of the incident.
