The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested a terror cell Wednesday night who planted what they thought were bombs at a Bronx synagogue. FBI agents posed as terrorist handlers sold the fake bombs and a Stinger missile look-alike to four men. The investigation started a year ago when an Islamic informant told the FBI that the men wanted to buy explosives.
The terror cell of American-was arrested as they planted bombs by the Riverdale Temple and under cars parked near the synagogue. In addition, they wanted to blow up the Riverdale Jewish Center in Bronx, New York. Representative Pete King (Rep.-New York) stated, “This shows the real risks we face from homegrown terror and jailhouse converts, and the need for constant vigilance.”
