Fully 70 percent of Israelis prisoners are Arabs according to a report published by the Adallah organization on Tuesday. 22,500 prisoners are currently incarcerated in the Israeli correctional system.
Out of those, 3,419 Israeli Arabs are in prison for criminal offenses, while 370 are in prison for security related reasons. 7,720 Judea and Samaria Arabs are in prison for security reasons, while 2,015 are in prison for criminal acts. Another 2,000 black Arabs who infiltrated Israel from Africa are also in prison according to the organization.
