The Palestinian Authority swore in a new government on Tuesday evening angering both Fatah and Hamas. PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas named Salam Fiad Prime Minister.

Fatah officials were angered claiming they had not been involved in the process leading to the new government. Hamas officials claimed that the swearing in meant the PA was not serious about joining forces
