Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu began his third and final day on Tuesday of his first trip to the U.S. since being elected. During the morning, he will meet with U.S. Congressmen and later in the afternoon he is scheduled to meet with the Secretary of Defense Robert Gates at the Pentagon.
Netanyahu met on Monday with President Barack Obama as well as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He refused to endorse a Palestinian Authority state but did not manage to get the U.S. administration to put a deadline on talks with Iran regarding its nuclear weapons program.
