A Jewish man was lightly to moderately injured Friday after an Israeli Arab attacked him with a crow bar. The incident occurred east of an overpass on Route 443, near Beit Horon, northwest of Jerusalem. The attack occurred after the two had a disagreement. The injured was taken by Magen David Adom ambulance to receive medical treatment.

The attacker was arrested on the spot by a police officer. The police are investigating the circumstances of the event. It is still unclear whether the attacker's motivation was nationalistically-based or criminally-based.
