A traffic accident on Highway 90 in the Jordan Valley claimed a fifth victim on Tuesday afternoon when a four-year-old boy who was seriously wounded in the crash succumbed to his injuries. Two children and two adults were killed immediately in the crash. A sixth person was seriously injured.
The victims' identities have not yet been made public, but police say the five were members of a single family who were returning from Lag BaOmer celebrations in Meron. The crash took place when the family's car hit a bus while going around a sharp bend in the highway.
