Israeli President Shimon Peres and U.S. President Barack Obama exchanged gifts on Tuesday in tandem with their meeting in Washington. Obama gave Peres a silver Mezuza case adorned with turquoise gems.
Peres gave Obama a peace statue of a woman holding 20 doves . The statue had an engraving which read, “To President Barack Obama – a great leader who carries a great hope for the world.”
